Prevalence of Mastitis in Dairy Cows of Faisalabad District

Abstract
The present study investigated the prevalence of mastitis in dairy cows in Faisalabad District. Milk samples from 150 cows were screened using the California Mastitis Test. The overall prevalence was 28%, with higher occurrence in high-yielding cows.

Impact of Organic Fertilizers on Wheat Yield under Semi-Arid Conditions

Abstract
This study evaluated the effect of organic fertilizers on wheat growth and grain yield under semi-arid conditions. Three treatments including farmyard manure, compost, and a control were tested in a randomized complete block design. Results showed that compost significantly increased plant height, number of tillers, and grain yield compared with the control treatment. The findings suggest that organic fertilizers can improve soil fertility and enhance sustainable wheat production.
