Purpose: FKP publishes original eBooks/Chapters, journals and proceedings. English is the official language. FKP does not publish fiction Books.
Originality checks: To verify originality, the Managing Editor will check submissions using an originality detection service. Authors are responsible for keeping the Similarity Index ≤19% and similarity from any single source ≤5%. Non-compliant submissions are liable to rejection.
Acceptance: Decisions are made by the Managing Editor based on expert/reviewer recommendations. Rejection is typically for technical or ethical reasons; authors may be asked to improve language.
Rejection Policy: Manuscripts are not rejected except for technical or ethical reasons. Authors are given an opportunity to improve poor English or grammatical mistakes.
Withdrawal: Authors may withdraw manuscripts at any stage from submission to acceptance; withdrawal is not possible once published online.
The Managing Editor is responsible for taking reasonable steps to identify and prevent publication of manuscripts where research or ethical misconduct has occurred. FKP will never encourage such misconduct. Reported cases will be dealt with strictly.
Authors must read FKP's Publication Ethics and Policies before submission. FKP is committed to maintaining high academic standards and is unbiased to any religious, nationality, or ideological issue.
Only manuscripts that have not been previously published and are not under consideration elsewhere will be accepted, provided they comply with all ethical guidelines suggested by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All named authors are assumed to agree with the contents and are responsible for the validity and originality of the data presented.
Any plagiarism or contrary behavior is unacceptable. Offending eBooks/Chapters will be removed from the website and the author's employer will be notified for strict action.
The contents of Chapters/eBooks published by FKP represent the opinions of the authors. Neither the Managing Editor nor the Publisher (Frontier Knowledge Press) are responsible for the opinions expressed or any plagiarism committed by the author(s).
- All submitted Chapters/eBooks undergo peer review for objective judgment.
- Chapters/eBooks are sent to expert reviewers outside the Editorial/Management Board.
- Reviewers must not have any conflict of interest; if they do, they are morally obligated to return the manuscript without review.
- Double-Blind Peer Review is the prime policy of FKP. Neither reviewers nor authors know each other's identities. Authors must ensure their manuscripts do not reveal their identities, directly or indirectly.
- Authors are encouraged to suggest 3–4 names of leading scientists in their field, including name, designation, postal address, email, and telephone/fax number.
- Reviewers are not necessarily selected from the author-provided list; approaching suggested reviewers directly will lead to rejection.
Ethical guidelines are developed in accordance with standards defined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors must include a Bioethical statement at the start of the Materials and Methods section.
Ethics Committee or Institutional Bioethics Committee approval is mandatory when human or animal/bird subjects or samples are involved in the research. Authors must also obtain written consent from patients (or relatives/guardians) before submission. Anonymity of all individuals involved in research must be maintained.
- Submission declaration: Submitted work must not have been previously published (except as an abstract), must not be under consideration elsewhere, and must be approved by all authors. If accepted, it will not be published elsewhere without the copyright-holder's written consent.
- Metadata for all authors (email, postal address, telephone/fax) is required at submission.
- Authors are responsible for all statements and concepts in the manuscript.
- Use A4 page size, Times New Roman 12pt, with 1″ margins on all sides.
- Use 1.5 line spacing throughout, including Abstract and References; Tables should be single-spaced.
- Pages must be numbered serially on the lower right-hand corner, beginning from the title page.
- All pages must have continuous line numbering.
- FKP encourages use of EndNote software for references. Only closely related references may be cited.
- Figures and Tables should be kept to a minimum and referenced in the text. Figures should be in .JPG, .JPEG, or .TIFF format at ≥300 dpi. Tables must not exceed one A4 page and should be placed after the reference section.
Send ready manuscripts as email attachments to: proprieter@fkpress.com. Inquiries can also be submitted via the contact system.
Manuscripts not recommended for publication will be archived, and authors will be notified of the reasons.
Acknowledgments: Authors should acknowledge financial support, including grant numbers, and recognize colleagues who assisted with data analysis or language improvement.
Changes to authorship: Any authorship changes after submission must be requested in writing by the corresponding author to the Managing Editor, including the reason and written confirmation from all authors. Such changes will only be considered in exceptional circumstances after acceptance.
Proofs of accepted manuscripts are sent to authors for proof-reading and must be returned within 72 hours. No reprints are supplied. All manuscripts are published as Open Access and freely available for download on the FKP website.
All authors must declare any financial or personal relationships with other people or institutions that could inappropriately affect their research. Examples include employment, consultancies, stock ownership, honoraria, paid expert evidence, patent applications, and grants or other funding.
All authors — including those with nothing to declare — must include a declaration of competing interest statement in their submission.
FKP strongly believes in Open Access Policy and publishes all content under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license, making all published material freely accessible. However, each accepted manuscript is subject to publication charges based on its size/volume, to cover costs of web hosting, peer review, administration, professional production, and dissemination.
Publication charges are payable post-acceptance. Once paid and the manuscript is published online, no refund is possible.
Full or partial waivers are available to authors from developing countries on a case-by-case basis.
